The Development Trust was born out of the stark realization that rural development is largely limited by the potential of an individual or community to generate and maintain an income.
Supplying basic services such as power, water, sanitation and access to education, enriches the living standards of all communities without question.
The dependency and reliance on government for resources and funding is limited to national budget priorities. Delivery of a better quality of life, health and education facilities is only possible from a positive financial position. It still does not solve the primary problem of how do you earn a living while trying to rebuild our rural economies.
